The series"The Great Escape" shows excerpts of my travels in recent years. little critical,the selection can be seen more strikingly. It should be decorative. It should be impressionstransport. THE UNEXPECTED
Vietnam, 2018, the expectations are high - for years. This nation constantly overtakes itself, right and left. Colorful, always on the move and loving. This series shows Vietnamese street situations as they are daily to find. A repetitive process - every second happens unexpectedly! Four people on a scooter - no problem. Honking as a kind of communication tool. Unexpectedly, a bus pulls past my taxi unchecked. Unexpectedly only for me. This line was deliberately photographed in black and white. Although the colors are drastically reduced, you can still see the bright, colorful design of the streets, shops and houses. Especially for Lunar New Year, the whole thing is set on top.
HAMMER & TANZ
Bei der Fotoserie „Hammer und Tanz“ möchte ich in zwei Abschnitten meine Eindrücke in der Zeit der Corona-Pandemie durch schwarz-weiß Aufnahmen festhalten. Der Part I „Hammer“ zeigt Fotografien in der Zeit der Ausgangssperre, Kontaktverbote und Home-Office. Im Part II „Tanz“ werde ich versuchen die Zeit danach darzustellen.Street Photography in Zeiten der Pandemie ist wie fotografieren Sonntags früh um fünf. Leere Straßen und Plätze, verwaiste Einkaufszentren. Schön um die Stadt abzulichten, jedoch unpraktisch um Mitmenschen zu fotografieren. Aber es gibt sie! Inkognito vermummte Mitmenschen aufzunehmen entspannt mich als Fotograf, und sichtlich auch den zu Fotografierten. Die Maske als Eigenschutz und Rückzugsort. Noch sehr unklar, was das aus uns machen wird. Hilfreich war es auch immer schon vorher in der Situation zu sein, also schon ein Teil der Szene. Dann war es leichter die Personen davon zu überzeugen, dass nicht Sie im Fokus stehen. Die empfohlenen 10000 1 Schritte pro Tag zu gehen, ist ein Leichtes für einen Street-Fotografen. Denn um das richtige Motiv zu finden, werden da auch schnell einmal 20000 Schritte daraus.
